Kigio Wildlife Camp is an elegant all-suite camp overlooking the Malewa River.
The camp has taken care to construct everything in an environmentally friendly way utilizing sustainable pine-wood, local earth from the conservancy, traditional thatch provided by the surrounding community, and canvas panels, with minimal usage of cement and steel. This has ensured that the environment has been carefully preserved during its construction. Power is provided by solar panels.
There are 11 suites to pick from and the dining area is situated in a glade overlooking a towering red cliff that houses colonies of bee-eaters.
You can opt to hike, bike or go on a game drive (day or night), treat yourself to a bush breakfast or lunch, or indulge in some fishing. Visit this website to get more information.
