The East African Motor Sports Club has been around since 1947 and was founded to promote motor sports.
The club has been focusing on Motorcycle sports since 1990 and has helped spearhead a growth in the motocross sports. Through the Kenya Motosports Federation it started to run events in line with FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) and the Continental Union FIM Africa.
Motorcross is growing more and more popular, and the Kenyan Motocross team is making an impact wherever it goes. The Kenyan team has been participating in different races, including races in neighboring countries, and is considered a strong competitor in the East African region. The fanbase is growing rapidly as more and more crowds show up to support the riders in the various local races around Kenya.
