The only catch is that you will need to know someone who can get you on the island.  All visits are by invitation only, but once on the island, there are tons of things to do (oh, and it is livestock-free).

There are boat trips on Lake Baringo where one can view an incredible variety of birdlife, with over 450 species inhabiting the area, as well as hippo and crocodile. You can also visit Giraffe Island to see 8 Rothchilds giraffe, warthog, impala, hyrax, monkeys, pangolin, hippo and ostrich. Kayak lazily on the lake, practice your water skiing, or just have fun swimming.

Avid fishermen might like to try their hand at fishing for tilapia, catfish, lungfish, and barbell. They can then enjoy a meal atop the island as they drink in the fantastic views.

Accommodation on the island comes in the forms of a camp that can sleep 10 people, a cottage, and two spacious tents. To learn more about Teddy Bear Island, visit the official website or become a fan on Facebook.
